The Love Affair between
Joseph and Maria began in the Fall of 1991. Joseph and Maria met each
other while working together for Forex International, a commodity trading
house. A few breakfasts, (remember we were working on Eastern Time
Zone while living in the Pacific Time Zone) a few lunches, and then a few
more dinners together created the conditions for their romance to grow.
Joseph and Maria
continued seeing each other for the next year and became engaged to be married.
Meanwhile Alyssa Banda (Maria's daughter) with Randy and Benjamin Pérez (Joseph's
sons) began to get to know each other. With trips to the Monterey
Bay Aquarium, the San Francisco Zoo, and the Parks. The Pérez Family
started to take form.
The Pérez's became
a family in the Winter of 1992. When Joseph and Maria were married.
For the next 18 months the Pérez's worked on making their dreams come true.
To have a home for the "Family". In August 1994 the Pérez's bought their
first home. For Joseph and Maria, only being in their mid-twenties,
this was quite an accomplishment.

Romance continued to grow over the years. With many trials of life
put in their path. But there always remained one constant between Joseph
and Maria. And that constant was each other. Their ability to
count on each other and their faith in each other. This is part of
the Pérez Magic that continues to grow each day, each week, each month and
each year.
This year Joey and
Maria will celebrate their 14th year together as husband and wife.
And also, celebrating 15 years together as a "Romantic" couple.
"HAPPY FOURTEENTH YEAR ANNIVERSARY!"
